Bayou Teche Museum

I've been a few times over the years. It's a old and very beautiful building filled with lots of history. The ladies who work here are very nice and informative. Im looking forward to seeing the new expanded part of the museum one day.

Great little museum that is right in town. We watched a little video and the rest was self guided. Make certain you go down into the salt mine.

It was a really interesting museum, telling all about the history of New Iberia, their industries, the schools, churches, produce & musical culture.
