Eunice Depot Museum

The Eunice Depot Museum is a gem! Had a fantastic tour there this afternoon. The docent was extremely knowledgeable about the entire museum and it’s unique collection of regional artifacts. I especially enjoyed the 1976 Bicentennial Wagon Trail memorabilia. It brought back many fun times from my childhood. If you’re looking for a great family adventure or want to learn more about the early history of Eunice I highly recommend a visit!

I. Never. Knew. If you are looking for quaint, this is it. This is more than a museum, it is a personal view of Cajun Louisiana. Believe me when I say it's a whole different world - one with a rich history. I really like that the majority of the pieces come from the local community. Also Happy birthday to Clovis the Crawfish. If you don't know - check his stories out.

Happened to stop here after visiting the Cajun music museum and what a gem for Eunice. The history and snippets of culture were fascinating. The staff was so kind and very helpful. Even recommended a delicious lunch spot. True Cajun hospitality.
