Grand Point Tavern

I had my first expression of the nightlife of Henderson at this bar, and it was nothing short of awesome. I was skeptical at first because of the population density of the area compared to Lafayette but it had a healthy crowd throughout the entire night. The bartender was awesome and provided exceptional service even during the rush period. All around the service was great, the crowd was friendly and accepting, and the drinks were flowing the whole time.

We went here for bingo on a Thursday, we are nonsmokers -- everyone smokes and drinks, thwy have fans but they don't open doors so it just circulates the smoke. Horrible horrible. I couldn't get the smell put of my hair or clothes for what seems like a bottle of shampoo and detergent later. Will not be back.

Love the Atmosphere , Free Supper on Wednesday evening. Go have a drink and relax. They always have a DJ or band playing or event planned
