Heymann Performing Arts Center

This was absolutely incredible. My husband and I went to see Home Alone in Concert and we were blown away. So nostalgic, but so beautifully done. The acoustics here are spot on. The seating is a bit snug and needs updating, but not a big enough issue to keep us from going back. We appreciated this being available in our area. It was very special and we will be back again.

Performance was lovely and am glad lafayette supports the arts. I paid $100 over ticket price by going through "gotickets"... (lesson learned) for a pretty bad seat that appeared to be sold out and wasn't. Drove 8 hours to see my daughter perform. Was blinded by all the cellphone lights of people trying to find their seats after the performance started, distracted by staff radio communications during the performance, etc. And after the performance, was chastised for taking a picture of my daughter during final applause. I did not photograph the performance. All in all, nice venue, easy parking, comfortable seats, drinks and snacks available. Less militant ushers would be appreciated, and like most productions elsewhere, if you are not in your seat on time, wait for a scene change to come in to climb over people. Its proper etiquette.

Great venue. I saw One Vision of Queen. Love the seating and the sound is awesome.
