McGee's Louisiana Swamp & Airboat Tours

Always a great time with Skip at McGee’s Swamp Tours! I’ve been on two boat tours so far (and one canoe trip). He is super knowledgeable and shares amazing stories, facts, and history about the Atchafalaya Basin and surrounding areas. Incredibly kind folk. The rest of the crew is friendly and accommodating. It’s worth going out there! Also, with no promises of seeing alligators during the winter, we saw 8-10! Several bird sightings as well.

I would like to thank you for a terrific tour. Our Skipper Skip was both knowledgeable and funny. He showed us his respect for all things living and the environment. He is a great representative for the Achaflaya basin and the Cajun way of life. My entire family had a great time.Thanks again.

This is not ‘just another swamp tour’ thanks to Skip who was a great guide….Not only did we come away with a new appreciation for alligators… we learned a lot about the culture and history of this section of Louisiana… AND the importance (and beauty) of the Atchafalaya Swamp….a great way to spend 75 minutes!
