I heard only great things about Pogies and a big group of us were anxious to have a great day listening to live music. What I witnessed there on Saturday was disheartening. I stood at the bar for a while waiting for this one bartender in a black hoodie to serve us but she was more interested in standing with a customer to gossip and speak ill about another customer that was far away from her. Later, I just so happen to walk into the bathroom area where I witnessed the bartender aggressively yell at this girl. She had stopped what she was doing behind the bar to follow this girl to the bathroom. When the girl who was yelled at asked to speak to the manager, the bartender rallied 6 females and the customer she had been speaking ill with all day and night, and began telling a man who claimed to be the boss that either these people were kicked out or she would leave work. I watched this owner defend the behavior of his employee instead of stopping to gather all the facts of the situation, which many customers witnessed. I watched a girl try to diffuse the entire situation but the same customer who was gossiping with the bartender all day went to her and started screaming. These poor girls. I wanted so badly to say something but it wasn’t my place. Is this the way you treat customers? Customers who I witnessed to be there all day and keeping to themselves? Putting money into your business? What a shame. This is not a place I will ever go to again after what I saw. I’m so glad to see that I wasn’t the only one coming to leave a review for the same situation. To the girl, I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. Just know that you were seen and many of us know what happened. Loved your jacket by the way. Keep your head up.

Before this past weekend I actually did like this place. People will defend who they like regardless and that’s okay to the truth always comes out !
