Prehistoric Park

This is a fun place to bring small children, or if you have children in strollers. I went during the off-season, so perhaps it is more lively other times of the year, but there was only one area with roaring dinosaurs, and some trash on the ground, despite us being the only ones present. The animatronic dinosaurs at the end were a true test of mettle for my four-year-old, but it made for a fantastic experience as a parent. There are excellent photo ops. The playground outside the facility is nice, but has a couple areas. I would advise parents to be mindful, there are some screws sticking out from the wood, which could trip or snag a child, and the jungle gym is not bolted to the ground.

A very cool place to stop. Very casual place to hang out in the shade and watch the kids play on the playground, which is free. A nice museum gift shop is also free. The paved trail through the forest is completely shaded which is nice and the dinosaur statues are very well made and many of them move and have sound. Plenty of picnic tables under canopy so bring a lunch and have a great day.

Really cool (paved) path through trees and plants with butterflies flying around. Dinosaurs are spaced along the winding path. Some are animated and on sensors but most were not working when we went through. Kids loved it.
