Would be nice to add splash pad or more to the park for kids. Fishing is okay for the kids. Never been to field

My friend and I went here to check it out because we love parks/long walks, had been talking about checking out this place, and finally did… it was bizarre to say the least. To start, a Lafayette consolidated government truck was somewhere in the parking lot, and he drove closer to the park side, and he gave us the rudest looks when we got out of our car! We ignored it and walked toward the pond for a stroll. Then he drove right in front of where we were walking to get out of the parking lot, blocking our path, again rudely staring at us. We just ignored him and walked away. We discussed whether or not he might be “okay”. Then, I (we assume this guy called the Marshall we have no clue), a Marshall pulls up and is also staring at us, RUDELY! While we are trying so hard to enjoy this park, we haven’t had one moment of enjoyment since the second we pulled in. I mean, we were met with absolute rudeness in the PARKING LOT, the walk around the pond was fine, and then it’s like as soon as we approached the center of the park again, this whole SCENE is going on in the parking lot now. Like good grief take it somewhere else!! The other guy that came at the same time as us took his kid and left as well. Get it together. Wasn’t even worth it, I’ll stick to girard and moncus
Its a quiet little park next to a baseball field and the local library. There is an a pond for fishing, swings, and a little play area for the children. There is one patio table that is covered next to the swings for eating a quick snack or for reading while the children play. Nice little place for your little ones to burn some energy.
Real shots from locals, not stock vibes.
