Wonderland Center for Performing Arts

Wonderland Performing Arts deserves far more recognition for the incredible work they do. This is a professionally run organization with a strong moral compass, clear policies, and a genuine love for the children they serve. The owner is deeply invested in each production and treats all families with fairness and respect. Casting decisions are handled thoughtfully and appropriately — as they should be in any legitimate performing arts program — and expectations are clearly communicated upfront. There are no surprises, no hidden costs, and no special treatment. What stands out most is the positive environment Wonderland creates. Kids are encouraged to work hard, support one another, and grow both on and off the stage. The quality of the shows, the organization behind the scenes, and the leadership at the top are all exceptional. It’s unfortunate when a single disgruntled individual tries to undermine a wonderful local business, but anyone who actually experiences Wonderland Performing Arts will quickly see the truth. This place is a gift to Lafayette’s arts community, and we wholeheartedly support it.

I’m so impressed by the amazing talent at Wonderland from the very professional teachers to the youngest children. I have attended many shows at Wonderland and was even in an adult performance. Everyone was on equal footing! This is a place where children can explore their talents and develop self confidence. I have seen children start at the age of six and by the teenage years they are almost professionals! I see children bond and become friends with kids that go to other schools that they would have never met. I have seen parents in the audience with tears in their eyes when they see how their children progress! Kudos to the staff who obviously try to help each child find their strengths and develop self confidence while having fun and being accepted by all others. Everyone gets a chance to shine! I look forward to more shows at Wonderland!

Wonderland is an amazing place for kids to learn all aspects of theater. The staff and owner care deeply for the kids, and create a safe space for them to grow and learn. The productions are top notch, and the kids put on amazing performances. Do yourself a favor and check out some of their shows!
