Boutin's Cajun Seafood Steakhouse & Oyster Bar

My husband Sean and I came for a birthday bite and it was awesome!! We were greeted by a sweet young lady with a smile and were promptly seated. Our server, Mitch, was at our table immediately to say hello, get our drink order, and to inform us about the special fish of the evening, the whole stuffed flounder. Mitch was friendly, easy going, and informative about the menu. My husband had some major dental work done a couple of days ago, so he was careful and patient to help us navigate through the choices that would suit both our pallets and our special restrictions. We had the special catch of the day which was the whole stuffed flounder and the Two Step dinner which was catfish and crawfish etouffee. The two step was excellent, but the flounder was outstanding!! Fish was cooked to perfection, easily flaked away from the bone, super moist, and seasoned just right. The baked potato was huge. The sweet potato was filled with caramel and marshmallows YUM! The grilled veggies were piping hot with a grilled crisp, just the way I like them. 5 stars for all the stars at Boutins. Thanks for making an awesome birthday meal just right for husband and I. We will be back!!

Went in for dinner on a Thursday Evening Everything was delicious. Our Server was Sage she was amazing kept drinks full on the table and food and appetizers coming out quickly! Second time in three weeks we’ve been in! Mitch was our server the last time and had the same experience!! I haven’t been here in years over the terrible service they use to have seems like they have turned the place around!!! Will definitely continue to come back!

Wonderful food; some of the best food from a restaurant that I have had in a long while! Everything , except their food, could use a little improvment. 1stly their website gave me the impression that they only did catering and only booked indining for private parties. I couldnt even find a phone number to call, only a form to fill out that seemed to be for catering or large party orders. My daughter found their number off google but not their website. The food was expensive, especially for a pick up at lunch. However, given their high quality of their food, I'd pay it again. The girl that got my order from the back and eang me up was polite, but nor friendly. I was the only one in the entire place except for someone who appeared to be theanager, busy working on paperwork and the hostess/waitress. The atmophere was stuff and uninviting. The menu was full of things I wanted to try! The price made me real in my desire for 1 of everything. We ended up getting an whole oyster poboy, blknd chkn pasta (came with a side salad), a dinner salad (no protein), and a crawfish wanton app. The total, plus the tip i gave the polite girl was $80. Oh, 1 more thing - order extra salad dressing! The portion cup maybe contained a tablespoon, tops, of dressing for an entire dinner salad. Im not one to drown my lettuce in dressing but this was an absurdly small amount of dressing for such a big salad. And the side salad with the pasta dish was the same way too - way too little. I will most likely get food from there again. I dont think I'd ever dine in though.
