While staying in town saw the bakery featured on the news so decided to try them. I got a good variety of items. Their pastries are not overly sweet and in fact wish they had more flavor. The almond croissant didn't have much filling. The Amaretto bar had very little almond flavor as well. The coconut bar & little pecan pie was ok. The eclairs didn't taste fresh. The French bread was good. The best thing out of the bunch was the Puffed Honey covered in white chocolate and painted blue, gold and glittery. Unfortunately though they are not equal in size but they are the same price. Make sure you ask for the big ones. I got two and one was half the size of the other. I did also buy a frozen Praline Brie but have not yet tried that. Not sure I'd go again.

We’ve ordered many cakes from here over the years and have always loved the taste. Unfortunately, we consistently have issues with the design not matching what we request. Each time we place an order, we provide a photo showing exactly how we would like the cake to look. However, it never looks like the picture! Our family brings the cakes down to us for our parties in Houston, so we have to pick them up the day before the event. Because of that timing, we can’t simply wait for another decorator the next day to fix it—we would end up without a cake for our celebration. We were previously told to make sure the decorators could clearly see the reference photo, even suggesting we print it out. Weve always emailed the picture ahead of time and confirm that the design can be replicated, and we’re always told it won’t be a problem. Unfortunately, the final result still never matches the design we requested. Very disappointing and frustrating.

An outstanding cake 🎂 along with the best customer service !! I asked and they delivered, this cake was a caramel doberge with 80 icing roses, it was for my grandmother’s 80th bday. The cake was delicious 🤤 moist and sweet. We all loved it and I am still thinking about it over a week later!! Seriously if you’re on Google shopping around for cakes (like I did) stop here and order it!!! Oh and we added 80 candles bc why not lol. Thank you Poupart’s. Will definitely be back again
