SHUCKS!

Absolutely fantastic spot for great seafood and drinks! Their white chocolate bread pudding was some of the best me and my family have ever had! The owner was so nice and friendly! Felt like family from the great southern hospitality experienced here! Definitely go to Shucks! if you’re visiting or live in the area!

The exterior and surroundings were nice. I ordered a dozen raw oysters and the Shucked Margarita that was mixed with Hornitos. The service was good, including the hostess. They have outdoor seating with the view of the bayou. I'll be back to try more food.

We stayed in Abbeville for one night and stopped at Shucks for dinner. It is a lively, happy atmosphere filled with locals (a good sign!) having a great time. The staff and owner are very gracious. I had the charbroiled oysters, they were cooked just right and were very tasty and quite large. My husband had to try the local crawdads and he ate 3lbs! He loved the flavor and how they were seasoned. As we left (on a Saturday night) live music was being played in there outdoor space. Thank you Shucks!
