The Chimes Lafayette

Sat in the main dining area. Was lively. Good vibe. There was another area that had dimmer lighting and was more quiet. We had to get out of that area. Felt like we were being punished. I ordered the steam which was top tier. Salad was great too. The cheese fries with crawfish appetizer was not good and wouldn’t recommend.

We started with salads. My caesar salad came out with hardly any dressing. Our waitress brought out some extra and I’m so glad I asked for more, because the dressing was so good! I had the blackened chicken Alfredo. The chicken was really flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pasta and sauce could have used some spice or extra flavor but it was still good. The mac and cheese was great and very flavorful! My husband ordered the shrimp and grits and he was in heaven. He loved them! The bread the dishes come with look like average bread but the bread was actually amazing! I’m so glad we made the stop here!

Our server Dylan g was on point! Very friendly and attentive even though they were super busy. The restaurant and outdoor seating area were very pretty. The food came out quickly and just like it should....finished our oysters (which were delicious) and our salads came out (salads were meh), finished our salads and our dinner came out. It was delicious! The seafood lasagna was loaded with seafood. The bread was delicious. Would definitely go back when we are in town again.
