Turtle’s Bar & Grill

Great place to kick back on the water and enjoy a nice beer and the game. We enjoyed the gumbo and the poboy, very good. It was dog friendly for the outside area, and everyone there, staff and customers alike, were all very friendly, making the atmosphere very positive.

I would have given this place a 4 or maybe even considered a five. Except they had signs out that Sunday was 2 burgers for $14. All over the place, imagine my surprise when I ordered 2 and was charged $42!!! The promo was apparently only Sundays during football season. That’s big city pricing for 2 burgers. I love the location, bartender was nice but be wary if you go to double check what you’re going to be charged. I felt totally cheated.

Had the gumbo and a chicken salad. Might I say very good. The bartender Talia is a great bartender that never stops working.
