Food was amazing! Im from Texas I went to upper Louisana to see family. I drove 4 hours here to meet my Aunt for lunch. Worth every penny and mile I drove. I had the smothered sausage and chicken.

One of the best restaurants in Lafayette for a homecooked plate lunches. The friendly staff supplies great service and make you feel like family. Get there early for lunch. They get busy and you wouldn't want to miss out on one of their meal options.

Came for the first time on 6-2-23 at approx. 11:10 The menu items are posted on a board...and it is very visible! (Thank you for that.) The serving staff is VERY EFFICIENT! I ordered the shrimp stew with broccoli and cheese and potato salad--all very delicious! an order of crawfish etouffee, too--yum! I can't wait to come back and try other items they may have...like the okra and hamburger steak. The only items that I didn't think were top notch were the desserts. The red velvet cake 🍰 was maybe a 1.5/5 and the lemon cake slice maybe at...2/5. I also saw a coconut slice of cake, too.
